Just before The Toronto Real Estate Board puts out the monthly sold statistics for the GTA here is a look at the median and average list price of homes viewed on one of my listing web sites here in Uxbridge.
The median price tells us that 50% of the potential home buyers were looking above $484,900 and 50% were looking under $484,900. Meanwhile the average list price they looked at was $586,320 read more here

Looks like there are positive signs in hour marketplace. Hope this continues and spreads to the US.
Hi Kathy - It would be interesting to see where the $1,200.00 minimum house price is located in the GTA.
I also like the methodology of how you are boosting the Google Juice on your website via this post.
Barb and Sal - statistics are great if you understand what went into making them. Case in point the low 1,200 for the year is a rental which will affect the numbers slightly as the high 4 million one does those outlying figures have the potential of altering the results if you were to exclude them.
Joan - things are a little slower as we get closer to Christmas but still no complaints.
Marc - see my comment to Barb and Sal. ..... we have a few properties that are outside the normal house range. Barrie tells me if he filtered the outer ones out the average numbers would likely be slightly higher than they are here but the median would still be close to where it shows here.
